What is Judicial Retention?

Judicial retention in Nebraska is a process where voters decide whether a judge should remain in office for another term. Judges do not face opponents; instead, they appear on the ballot, and voters choose "Yes" or "No" to retain them. This 2024, 33 judges are up for retention!
